Lucia mini cakes are  beautifuly rich flavoured chocolate cakes made with chocolate butter cream. Being swiss myself I only use the best chocolate. They come either covered in plain, milk or white chocoalte fondant icing. Depending on how many cakes there are, they can be displayed on a tiered stand.

The cake was by any standards was more than spectacular - it was very beautiful, breath taking in fact!  It caused a stir all round. I can not thank you enough for all your hard work - I was just thrilled by your art work - the tiny pearls were an absolute triumph and the lace work mirrored the dress wonderfully (everyone noticed this and were in raptures). A three tier cake with a shower of sugar peonies. The design was developed from  the brides exquisite dress. Peonies come in different colours and shades, make sure you send me a sample picture of the exact flower you like. A colour swatch by post is always helpful as not all colours come out the same on every computer.

The perfect cake for a white wedding? This is possibly my most asked after wedding cake. A mixture of sugar pink roses and calla lilies on a cascading drape, with large pearls around the base of each cake. This cake can be made as a three or four tier wedding cake. The ivory icing sets off the pink flowers. (They of course can be any colour!) Remember that sponge cakes with Butter cream at the height of summer in this style of cake no matter how strong the supporting dowels are, are not always the wisest choice. However there are many different ways of overcoming this problem - Ask me!

Hello Franziska, Just wanted to thank you very much for the beautiful cake you baked for our wedding. Everyone commented on how lovely it was and how good it tasted. I loved the delicatel made sugar flowers with the graduated colouring and you got the calla lilies just right. I loved them so much I actually dismantled all the sugar flowers (even from the dummy) and put them in little boxes in my hand luggage so they wouldn't get broken! The sugar piping under the drapes was taken from the lace pattern of the bridal dress and can be changed to suit your needs. My cake boards are always covered in icing and have a ribbon around them to give it a professional look. Just a change of ribbon can give the cake your own personal touch..

The Retro wedding cake was designed with the idea of a nineteen twenties theme. The cake topper with the feathers was developed from a twenties hat design. For a relatively small cake, I wanted to make it stand out and be powerful in design and tall in statue.
